About the event
To commemorate 75 years of liberation, PEK (a Dutch artists’ cooperative) invited Burns Visual Arts Society to a collaborative exhibition. Seven BVAS artists* responded and the resulting artworks were on display in parallel exhibitions in Calgary, Canada and Ede, the Netherlands. In Calgary The Art of Freedom was installed at street level in the Window Gallery, Calgary Central Library March – June 2020.
