Nature is my happy place. Fleeting imagery of the land that inspires my work drawn from time spent exploring outdoors. My creativity is driven by an emotional connection to the subject matter. Whether I am plunging down black diamond runs in the Rockies, discovering new bike trails near my home in Calgary, kayaking the clear waters near the family cottage in Saskatchewan, or pausing to sketch plein air, my quest is to capture that sense of adventure and joy on canvas. The fusion of colours, materials, and textures gives these images an opportunity to sparkle on canvas, transforming them into something exceptional, very much like the landscape that inspires them.
